WNEP Theater is very pleased to announce the East Coast premiere of “Let There Be Light..!”, adapted from the John Huston documentary by Jen Ellison and Dave Stinton at the New York International Fringe Festival in August 2004.
Chosen from over 800 international submissions, “Let There Be Light..!” is only one of nine productions from Chicago invited.
In August the upward trend for what the Daily Herald calls “...an edgy theater making machine...” continues as WNEP becomes one of two theater companies in history to be represented at both the largest improv festival in the world AND one of the most prestigious theater festivals in North America, the New York International Fringe Festival. The only other company with this distinction is Cardiff Giant, with Urinetown at the FringeNYC in 1999 and the ensemble performing last year at CIF6. Both companies originated in Chicago.
The performance will also mark the New York debut of WNEP Theater.
