2004 DUO IMPROVISO is: The winners of the title and $200.00 in cash presented a scene fueled by the suggestion "Remembrance of Loss" that engaged a friendship as unlikely as the two arguably bizarre improvisers - a racist and his liberal friend who has to protect him from those he offends.

Once a year, the folks at WNEP host an event that celebrates the ingenuity and imagination of improvisation. Given that the foundation of all improv is the two-person scene, the event is known as DUO IMPROVISO. DUO IMPROVISO pits ten two-person teams (known as "duos") against each other in one of the most entertaining evenings all year long. Each team gets a suggestion and eight minutes in which to explore that idea. After all ten duos have performed, a crack panel of judges determines which duo is crowned DUO IMPROVISO and receives the prize of $200.00 in cash. Rob Smith & Michael Lehrer
