FAIRY TALES
ARE NOT FOR CHILDREN
is an anthology of three short plays (The Frog Prince
by David Mamet, Can't Catch Me by Michael Cadnum, and Little
Red Riding Hood by Billy Aronson) that restage each tale with a more
adult perspective.
Dave Stinton (Director) conceived of the anthology after the success
of The Mysteries of Harris Burdick (which he co-wrote) last Spring. By
taking existing playwrights takes on the standard fairy tale, we
present a fresh spin on stories everyone is familiar with, commented
Stinton. The blend of old world magic with new world cynicism creates
a hugely entertaining evening.
